Benjamin

​The ensign or symbol for the Tribe of Benjamin is the wolf.

Genesis 49:27

27 Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.

​Jacob's favorite and most beloved wife was Rachel the mother of Benjamin.
Genesis 29:20

King James Version (KJV)
20 And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her.

Benjamin was Rachel's second son.
Genesis 35:24

24 The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:

​Samuel anointed Saul from the tribe of Benjamin as the first king of Israel.
1 Samuel 9:16-17

​The Apostle Saul (Paul) was of the Tribe of Benjamin.
Romans 11:1

Philippians 3:5

5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

The Southern Kingdom

The Tribe of Benjamin was part of the Southern Kingdom of Judah when the Nation of Israel was broken into two parts, Northern & Southern Kingdoms. The Southern Kingdom comprised only being of Judah & Benjamin, so the Benjaminites were also called "Jews"
1 Kings 12:21-24

21 And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.

23 Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying,

Ezra 1:5

Mordecai and Hadassah (Esther) were from the Tribe of Benjamin.
Esther 2:5-7

6 Who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away.
7 And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.

Deuteronomy 33:12
